Project Overview

Roy Hill is at the final stages of constructing a 55 mtpa Iron Ore mining project. The project incorporates a 344km standard gauge, single line, heavy haul rail line to transport iron ore from operations to port for export.

  • Installation, wiring and termination of points machines.
  • New or upgraded rail signalling and crossing installations.
  • Installation of supplied location cases.
  • LV Distribution systems.
  • Signalling and communications support.
  • Installation of ATP modules in locos.
  • Commissioning of radio communications on locomotives.
  • Civil Works
  • Installation of piled foundations and anchors.
  • Reinforcement and concrete placement.
  • All formwork, scaffolding and temporary support works.
  • Placement of cement stabilised backfill.
  • Installation of location pads and culverts ready for cabling.
  • Installation of earth straps for earth grids.
  • Hand rail installations.
  • Detailed excavation for construction structures.
